Like little moths, humans tend to gravitate towards the light. We think the light is the best place to be, perhaps because we believe it is easier to see. We spend a lot of time searching for the light or the positivity we think is necessary to feel good. In order to feel peace-full we chase after joy, passion, optimism, and love. What we don't often understand is the peace possible within the darkest shadows of our minds. This peace comes through acceptance of everything that encompasses the current moment, resilience to continue forth through difficulty, and patience to act in alignment with our soul's timing. Practicing acceptance, resilience, and patience cultivates peace in all moments, including the darkest hours. With those tools, we can find our inner nyctophiliac.
