I believe in the power of big "S"elf-love that fuels the energy of little "s"elf-care. I know that bridge is where we meet God, the Great Spirit, the Universal truths and laws which govern an understanding that we chose love and free-will as cornerstones of our human value system. Within us all is the power to choose love and yield it like a valiant sword. ...but you have to learn to use a sword before you can safely yield it at all.
Gratitude for the present moment is the only way I am able to be sanely in the presence of love right now. Gratitude for my breath. Thankful for what my body CAN do. Grateful for the people in my life who won't allow me to forget how loved I am today, yesterday, and forever. Forgiveness for the others. Forgiveness for doubts within my small self. The biggest Self I have knows what needs to be done and has the patience and clarity to honor whatever that means.
